Ultraschall in der Medizin/European Journal of Ultrasound (UiM/EJU) is a leading interdisciplinary medical ultrasound journal, providing a forum for clinically relevant ultrasound research, education and standards
The journal publishes contributions on the clinical application and advancement of diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound. Technical papers with a physiological theme as well as the interaction between ultrasound and biological systems are considered, provided that the translational relevance is high.
UiM/EJU embraces high quality scientific content across disciplines on the diagnostic and therapeutic applications and advancements of ultrasound, with a clear emphasis on clinical impact.
The journal serves clinicians and researchers across specialties who use, apply, or advance ultrasound in clinical practice, including internal medicine, gynaecology and obstetrics, urology, and other disciplines. It also provides educational value for students, trainees and healthcare professionals involved in ultrasound.
The articles in UiM/EJU are disseminated in the form of original articles, reviews, technical developments, rapid communications, case reports and pictorial essays. Letters and comments are also accepted, promoting a vivid exchange of opinions and scientific discussions.
