The journal is aimed at physical therapists specializing in sports physical therapy and supports the advancement of evidence-based sports physical therapy and sports science in German-speaking countries. Invited experts contribute articles on selected topics, and some issues focus on specific themes, such as cruciate ligament rehabilitation or sideline screening. In addition to in-depth professional articles, the journal also features interviews, concise summaries of current study results, and other short formats. However, original research papers are not published.
