To recognize and celebrate outstanding scientific achievements, Thieme established the Endoscopy Most Innovative Paper Award. The award honors the most innovative paper published in Endoscopy each year and is presented during the ESGE Days in the following year. The winner receives a prize of €1,500.
All papers published in the Original Articles and Innovations and Brief Communications sections are automatically eligible for consideration. The jury consists of the Editor-in-Chief, the Co-Editors-in-Chief, and the Co-Editors of Endoscopy.
In selecting the winner, the jury evaluates scientific rigor, originality, and the impact the paper has generated within the scientific community. Award-winning papers are distinguished by their innovative approach, clinical relevance, and potential to advance the field of gastrointestinal endoscopy.
