Open Access
Open Access
Endoscopy is a hybrid journal, offering authors the choice to publish their articles either through the traditional subscription model at no cost or as Open Access upon payment of an article processing charge (APC).
Authors may be eligible for Open Access funding through institutional, consortium, or transformative agreements. Before submitting, we encourage authors to check Thieme's Open Access page to explore available funding options and determine whether their institution or funder participates in an agreement that may cover APCs. Current APC rates are available in the APC Price List.
Please note that E-Videos, the online video section of Endoscopy, is published exclusively as Open Access. Dedicated to innovative techniques and instructive clinical cases in gastrointestinal endoscopy, all E-Video articles include a high-quality video component and are published under a Creative Commons CC BY license.
