Aims & Scope
The journal Die Wirbelsäule is an interdisciplinary continuing‑education publication that provides quality‑assured, practice‑relevant specialist knowledge on diseases and injuries of the spine. Its aim is to translate current scientific findings from orthopedics, trauma surgery, and neurosurgery into clinical and therapeutic practice, supporting physicians in their daily decision‑making.
The journal offers CME‑certified continuing‑education articles, concise overviews of key topics, and updates on current developments in the field. All relevant disciplines involved in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of spinal conditions are represented. The journal is aimed at spine specialists working in hospitals and private practice and is made available to members of the German Spine Society as part of their membership.
