Journal Specific Instructions

Publications

Diabetes aktuell regularly publishes brief overviews and CME articles on selected key topics.
The authors address highly topical issues currently being discussed within the professional community—such as new therapeutic approaches, research findings, changes in professional policy, and much more. The individual brief overviews concisely summarize the state-of-the-art medical knowledge on the relevant topic, with a focus on timeliness and practical relevance.

Guidelines for Feature Articles

  • Manuscript length: The manuscript should not exceed approximately 20,000–24,000 characters (including spaces).
  • Abstract: 600–1,000 characters, including spaces
  • Conclusion: Please include a conclusion at the end of your article (max. 500 characters, including spaces)
  • Bibliography: Arranged chronologically according to their appearance in the text and numbered consecutively.
