Each brief review concisely summarizes the current state of the art in the relevant field. The focus is on timeliness and practical relevance.
Would you like to publish a brief review in Aktuelle Kardiologie? Please note the following guidelines:
Formal criteria for brief reviews
- Manuscript length: The manuscript should not exceed approximately 18,000 characters, including spaces.
- Title page: Please provide the title of the work in German and English.
- Abstract: in German and English.
- Keywords: 3–5 in German and English.
- Bibliography: No more than 15 references, arranged chronologically according to their appearance in the text and numbered consecutively.
Key didactic elements
- What is important: At the beginning of the article, new findings and the most important aspects of the article are summarized in bullet points in an info box.
- In Brief: At the end of each section of content, summaries accompanying the text in an info box (“In Brief”) highlight the value for readers.
- Conclusion: Please provide a conclusion at the end of your article (max. 500 characters, including spaces)
